Can You Really Predict Future Market Direction?

There is a saying: “History repeats itself.” We can modify that saying to: “Seasonality repeats itself.” When you ask a room full of people if anyone can predict the future, they will scoff at you. But in everyday life we are always predicting the future. When we go to work, we know the train will come at a certain time, we know the bus will come at a certain time, we know the elevator should come within a certain time. In a sense that is predicting the future. These are events that occur regularly see with base our daily decisions around them. Seasonality in the market is not that much different.
